How to update the firmware of JetFlash-M with MP3 function?(P/N:TSxxMJFLASHM)
Answer:
1.Please download the latest firmware from website first.
2. Extract and copy the 2 files (resource_3410.bin & stmpsys_3410.s) to "C:\Program Files\SigmaTel\MSCN" folder. Windows will prompt to replace the original files.
3.Execute Programs -> SigmaTel MSCN Audio Player -> MSCN Firmware Download.
4.The program will prompt you to plug the JetFlash-M. Please press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button, then plug JetFlash-M into an available USB port.
Note: Do not release the PLAY/PAUSE button until the update procedures are completed.
5.In "MSCN Firmware download" dialog You will see the information of Current Firmware Version of JetFlash-M and Upgrade Firmware Version. Press the "START" button to update firmware.
6.After the procedure is completed, please close the dialog then remove the JetFlash-M.
